New Student Orientation is funded by the fees that we collect from our participants.

Cancellations
If you are no longer planning on attending your NSO session, you will need to call the NSO office at 505-277-5321. 2 days before your scheduled session to be eligible for a refund. Failure to cancel 3 days prior to your scheduled session will make you not eligible for a refund. There are no refunds for no-shows.
When selecting a payment option:
There are two payment options for paying the fee for New Student Orientation. You must select one of these two payment options on the "My Reservations" screen of the orientation reservation system in order to secure a spot in a session. Do so by clicking the "Pay Now" button on the screen.
Upon doing so, you will have the option of
Paying with your credit card
OR
2. Choose the “Charge My Student Account” payment option.
If you choose Option 2, we will charge the New Student Orientation fee to your UNM student bursar account after the orientation session.
DO NOT mail any payments to our office or bring payment at check-in.
