The New Student Orientation Program is now offering special workshops for parents and guests of Transfer and Non-Traditional Students! If you have a student who will be attending TNT A, B, C, or D, then consider joining us for this optional workshop.
The TNT Family Workshop will offer parents and guests the chance to ask questions about various services and programs throughout the university, as well as a Q & A session with current TNT students at UNM.
Students and parents will learn about important university policies, services, and other information together in the morning of full TNT Programs. Everyone will eat lunch together as well. When lunch is over, parents and guests will participate in customized workshops that address their specific needs and concerns while students learn about the academic advisement and registration process. Once these workshops are over, students and guests will meet back up at the Student Union Building.
The fee for a guest to attend TNT A-D is $10.00 per guest. This price covers the cost of lunch, a TNT Family Workshop Packet, and the TNT Family Workshop itself.
To be a part of this exciting new program, ask your student to add you as a guest when he or she registers for TNT A, B, C, or D. For more information about making a guest reservation, visit our Reserve Family Space page. Since TNT Programs are only one day long, we do not offer the "tag team" option at these sessions.
We are unable to offer guest reservations for TNT Express programs at this time.
