Spring Advisement

The goal of academic advisement is to guide you towards a successful academic career. Advisors can help you learn about the degrees available and understand requirements.

Make sure you are prepared to register for classes at Spring Orientation. Read about your academic advisement process now on the page appropriate for you.

Freshmen Advisement
We recommend that you take your placement exams before your orientation date. If you don't, there may be some classes you cannot register for until you have completed the necessary placement exam(s). You will see an academic advisor during your orientation program.

Transfer Student Advisement
If you attend Session 1 or 2 you should meet with an academic advisor before your orientation to make the registration process during orientation quicker. If you are unable to come to campus earlier, you will also have a chance to see your academic advisor during the session.

If you attend the TNT Express program, you must seek academic advisement on your own, as academic advisement and registration are not included in this very short session.
