Sample Interview Recordings

In order to make interview process more dynamic for both applicant and selection committee, we are requiring all applicants to submit one of the following files to nso@unm.edu. Email submissions are due by February 12th by midnight. Your application will be considered incomplete if this is missing.

Your video or voice recording submission must be no longer than three minutes. You are required to answer the following question:

  1. As an orientation leader, what will you bring to the New Student Orientation team?

Guidelines:

In the video, you must be sitting down and answer one of the three questions. Think of this as a normal interview as you would have during a face-to-face interview.  You may show up to 3 props during video to convey your answer, but no more.  Please do not have any changing scenes.  You, sitting down in the same location is all we need. Videos may not have special effects or editing.  The purpose of this video is for you to provide us with an opportunity to know you better.

Voice recordings may not include special effects or editing.  Please only use your own voice when recording.

Please make sure to speak clearly so that we may understand you. Please avoid filming/recording in areas that may provide a lot of background noise. Please choose a quite location.
