New Student Orientation Leaders help UNM Staff guide students through orientation programs. Orientation Leaders are experienced UNM students who are knowledgeable about university procedures such as academic advisement and registration, and trained to accompany students through the entire process.

At Orientation, students are divided into small groups, each with its own Orientation Leader. Your leader will lead you around campus, answer questions, and even stay with the group overnight during programs where an overnight stay is included.
