Before you make your reservation for Lobo Orientation, you need to complete an activity called "My Course Placement." It is designed to give you an idea of what classes you start with your first semester at UNM.

My Course Placement is quick and easy. Just be ready to enter your ACT and/or SAT scores. You'll also need the date(s) you took your test(s).

Print out your results from My Course Placement and bring them to Lobo Orientation.

When you click Reserve Your Spot, you'll be taken to My Course Placement on the way to the Reservations Form.

What if I’m not happy with my placement results?
Your My Course Placement results are based on your SAT and/or ACT scores. If your My Course Placement results show that you are being placed into Introductory Studies Course (IS-100) or another class that you feel isn’t advanced enough, you can challenge your level by taking a Compass Exam.
