The New Student Orientation Program is funded by the fees that we collect from our participants. The Student Fee for attending Lobo Orientation is $150.00. This fee covers the required one-night overnight stay in the residence hall, 1 breakfast, 2 lunches, 1 dinner, entertainment, and program materials. There is no discount for housing if students attend sessions 11 or 12.
There are two payment options for paying the fee for New Student Orientation. You must select one of these two payment options on the "My Reservations" screen of the orientation reservation system in order to secure a spot in a session. Do so by clicking the "Pay Now" button on the screen. Upon doing so, you will have the option of paying with your credit card OR you can choose the “Bill My Student Account” payment option and we will charge the fee to your UNM student bursar account after the orientation session. DO NOT mail any payments to our office or bring payment at check in.
